New Goldflake Angel

I got a steal on this beautiful Goldflake Angel. Picked him up on January 17th from a LFS. Eating pellets like crazy, and takes mysis and krill as well. In my QT system now. He will go into my 250DD FOWLR

Beautiful fish! Definitely one of my favorite Angels. Are you going to treat it with anything while in QT? I unfortunately lost one in QT a few weeks back.

I love those fish I am still trying to find a nice one that is a juvi so I can put it in my 40 breeder to get it to eat before i put it in my 200.

I am fattening mine up on NLS pellets and mysis while in my 40G QT. It's the only fish in QT, so it has the run of the tank. Also, the tank is almost at floor level, and both my Golden Retreivers like to go over and check it out. The Goldflake doesn't seem very skittish or shy.

Beautiful fish. Looks tiny. For scale, how big is the PVC?

Interesting about the floor level tank. I have one and the fish are not that fond of the dog or me going by.

3" PVC. Just the QT is at floor level. The GF seems to like my Golden Retrievers, will try to get a family photo
