Not sure how to spell it but my new green napthia has not opened since bringing it home. It was 5 inches tall in the store and it is about 2 now. Is it normal for it to stay closed for a few days being introduced into a new aquarium?

When they grow do the split like xenia or drop branches like kenya tree?

Your coral might be getting more light then usual. Most LFS, the lighting system sits high so it gets less light.

If it is on top of ur tank, lower it and see what happens. Some corals also take a little longer to open then others. Give it some time.

It's normal for really any coral to stay closed upon addition into your aquarium. It needs time to acclimate to the new tank, flow, lighting, etc... Give it some time and it should do fine. :)
