I just recently purchased a purple Condy anemone at my lfs and have notices that there are some tentacles (dont know the name of the leg thingys) that are appearing very thin and in contrast to the other legs. the new thin ones are more of a white color then a clear color. If someone can help me figure out how to tell new growth that would be swell :)

The leg is generally considered the foot and is pink or red in color, the tentacles all vary in size and thickness depending on age. However no anemone should be clear white is generally a bad sign your condylactis should be a beige or light brown color. keep it under good lights and feed it small pieces of raw seafood, pea size, until is colors back up. it's sad but healthy anemonies don't look as nice as starved ones.
