Thanks, elegance coral. Its under one of the two 150w Pheonix 14k HQI's run on stock electronic ballasts, Sunpod fixture. It has opened up nice, not to jinx myself, and started to deveolp a deeper blue which is hard to capture.

Thanks beachbaby, the clowns get along really well. Hopefully they will hit it off and spawn.

The color of the Haddoni is not two tone as it appears in the vid. Its a combo of the lights and the camera.

Update. When I got home last night and checked the tank I noticed them Nem moved. It was up on the rock work upside down attatched by its sticky tentacles. I turned off the PH and genlty swept it along until it released. Before doing this it covered my Capnella. I cleared a new place on the SB and moved its old base rock. In the process of moving him, it attached to my finger. It took a while before it released. Its now in its new home with less flow and seems to have attatched. Both clowns are hosting and the mouth looks closed. I was real concerned about damaging it during this process. I'll know more when the lights go on. Oh the Cappy looks fine.

This may not have been the best move, but I fed some HUFA soaked shrimp and it took it right away. The tentacles are like glue. I guess this is a good thing.

Thanks dc. If it did, I really didn't feel it. No reactions. The lights are on and it looks OK. I was concerned about the negative effects from the stress. Then I thought, in the wild, it they catch a fish , there are some violent movements caused by the fish trying to escape and this really doesnt harm the nem. If it did they would not have evolved the way they did. They seem to be resiliant animals when housed in an appropriate setting. Its open, mouth is tight and no regurgitation. It actually has more room to grow where it settled.

FWIW, I never really noticed haddoni "stings" per se until the next day, when I might notice little mosquito-bite-like welts on my fingers that itch a little.

I can touch any anem except carpets they destroy my skin.... drys out cracks open its horrible... And of course im out looking for a new one....

reactions definitely vary from person to person so care should always be taken when handling a new anemone. if you are unlucky enough to have an allergy, it can be a desperate situation.
