New Hogfish

I am sorry for digging up older threads, but I just got a 1inch or so Yellow Candy Hog and am wondering what I can do to get him eating. He is swimming around and everything but ignores the mysis with garlic and pellets. I have only have him for 3 days so I am thinking it may just be a new fish thing. All of you said that yours eat like pigs, but I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar or has some advice.

How are these guys with snails?

SoCalDude: once they settle in they'll eat pretty much everything from frozen to pellets.

Big E: if the snails are on the glass the hogs may take a nip at them otherwise I never had a problem.
