New Hydor pump

I ordered two of the Fours and they came today. Tropical Fish Outlet was selling the 4's for $44.99 which is what I paid. Not sure now, but they seem to be on "special order" with no price listed. It may be worth your while to check out the price.

WOW, They did pull a Dr F&S. I am so glad I bought mine last night when they were $10 cheaper.

I noticed the samething since I was going to order. I say look around and, ha $10 in your pocket is better then nothing.

WOW, thats cheap, i just got mine in the mail today. a 4 i got for 49.99 + 6 for shipping from aquarium connection. It reminds me of 4 mazi 1200's going at once in 4 different directions. I like it, just hope they stay fairly cheap.

will the Koralia work on a wave maker (red sea)?

I dont think it will, my 2 4s some times restarts in reverse and corrects it self, I think the seio controller will work but not sure, I read in another thread that they are working on a controller for them, not sure when they'll be available.

that sucks I want to get 2 but if they do not work on my wavemaker, no sense in getting them :(

The flow on these is so dispersed that I don't think a wavemaker would be necessary. If you put one on either side of your 75g tanks I am sure you would love the random flow that would be created in the tank.

the problem is the wavemaker but I have a DSB and the sand goes nuts with movement. So I need to no had dead spot but keep sand down on the bed. I am also thinking about removing DSB and going starboard.

But for $99 for (2) #4 to my door is not bad. Bigger issue is I might be moving so I might have to get rid of tank.

I have 2 of the 4's in my 180 and I have a deep sand bed. I think you would be good with 2 of the 3's in a 75g tank.

pointing down? I have 3 maxjets and (1) seio and would like to get ride of them.

Just pointing down slightly.

ok, cool. It just feel bad since I have a wavemaker ($110 and now (4) PH like $80 and getting tossed out...nevermind the sure grip manets on the maxjets...

I also wonder if two #4 would be overkill?

I don't think it would be overkill.

You could always sell your old equipt.

I have a 5" DSB I have them pointing to the top, two MJ1200 blowing on the back and 1 MJ1200 with the mod blowing from the middle of the tank to the front, I do have a mix of bigger rubble mixed with the sand bed.
