New Kessil Owner

Tank has only been running for a few months now and I finally purchased a light for it. I bought the Kessil 360N with the controller for it. I want to program it but am not quite sure on what intensity I should start off with and gradually go to through out the day and when to drop it off at.

Also what would the main difference be for the light color? Its a dark blue to a white.

Intensity depends on what corals you're adding. How far above the water is it positioned? It's always safe to start at a low intensity and ramp up for your corals - lots of people here have bleached their corals by running their Kessils too hot. The PAR intensity is much higher than the visual brightness leads you to believe.

Some have opinions on blue spectra vs white; I don't. I run 100% color on my 20" cube (A360WE 4" above water) ramping 5% ->50% ->off over a 9 hour photoperiod. My light is new too so I will probably test the waters of higher intensity and see how my corals respond.

My light is about 4.5" above my water line. I don't have anything in my tank now like I said except for CUC and then fish tomorrow, I don't even have algae growth on the rocks. As far as what corals I will keep it will probably be LPS corals and when my tank is mature an anemone. With me having really nothing in my tank what intensity would I need to go to and how fast should I achieve it?

With a tank that small no higher than 20% intensity. I had a Kessil A360WE On a 20 gal cube and things burned easily on anything higher than 20%

My LFS suggested that I get a narrow light so light can penetrate deep to the bottom and that the wide would have a hard time getting all the way down since the tank is tall. I've looked online and saw some videos, even from bulk reef supply that they go up to 100% on tanks that don't look as tall as mine.
