new koralia pumps!

I've seen them in action and they're nice. About 25% smaller than the Gen 1 Koralias and even more flow dollar for dollar. :)

It does sound like the pumps are good but Ive been reading pretty negative things about using them on wavemakers over in the general forum.

I just put the 1050 in a couple days ago. I paid $35 at Marine Depot. I might get the 750 as well.

I, too, saw the issues people were having with them. I guess they were running backward, especially if run on a wavemaker. I guess the bushing comes up and prevents the shaft (I guess it has some kind of shaft) from seating properly. My understanding is that it's fixable.

I read the problem with the bushing was fixed. Someone said they will send new bushings to existing owners, and new pumps will be equipped with the new bushing.

Are these different than the controllable Koralias? I picked up four controllables and they are decent. I like them.

I have had one of the older ones go bad and Koralia sent me a new one no questions asked. I love any company that stands behind there product. I am definitely a Koralia fan.
