Looks awesome. I would love to convert my 12g to full LED's. Did you follow a writeup? If so please post.

Cant wait to see pictures of it on the tank!

No sorry I didn't write but I can guide u. It's fairl easy especially if u have sum soldering skills.
What do u want to do with LEDs? 1or2 drivers?

I would like to completely get rid of my PC lights and I like the idea of doing the simulation of sunrise and sunset.

U would need a controller or 2timers. Also 2 drivers. I have 2eln 30-48d dim drivers but I think there r non dimmable drivers if u dont want that. I purchased all my stuff from bill on reefledlights.com if u want to purchase from them. I will take a fts when light turn on and post them. LEDs look way better than the stock pc on the cube.

Looks pretty sweet, I'd like to see an FTS and time lapse video of a sunrise/sunset!!

This is very appealing to me, I have been looking at a 3 dimmer setup using 12 Cree XRE cool whites, 13 XRE royal blues, and 5 XRG nuetral whites for a very accurate sunset cycle. Only catch is the RLK ALC only supports 2 0-10v outputs, so have to look at the much more expensive Neptune Apex.

I'm fairly new to the rkl but I will do sum testing on it with the LEDs. Right now I have them on 1&4. I will take a vid or pic of the fts so u can it but still the pics won't do it justice. But will post them on later today. IMO LEDs r worth it.

The blues just turned on here is a pic and the hood

Great setup! I've just ordered my LED supplies from Bill as well. Could you elaborate a little on your heatsink size and attachment to the hood? I've got a 12g nanocube as well and cannot wait to get my lights on it.

Invader I had the heatsink braketes attached to the heatsink and then I drilled 3/16 holes on the hood and put sum plastic screws and nuts. Been doing great with no problem.

Mud i think the heatsink is 8x12 I have to check again but it's around there and I attached it like I said up top.

Misenplace I didn't do nothing with the guard. I have the 2 40 mm fans and my stock fans in there. The only thing i had to cut was One of the holes on the back of the hood for my jager heater.

I like my setup now with 2 drivers,2 voltage supplies and the rkl.
