Those pics were taken on a buddy cannon 105mm macro 2.8. Great lens! However I have a nikon, and after using his it became apparent I needed one. I just ordered a tamron 90mm 2.8 macro. The equivalent nikon lens was to expensive. I have had good luck with tamron, and there seems to be good reviews on this macro. Open to suggestions and opinions on how to improve quality.

Here is a couple more.

wow, these are really great shots, i would just try to find the best polyp, or area to focus on. That's pretty much key to macro photography.

Cool except...Canon doesn't make a 105mm f/2.8 macro. Since you have a Nikon I am assuming you got the manufacturer right...it was probably a 100mm f/2.8 macro.

Either that or it was a Sigma 105 f/2.8.

Hey TVS!!!! Missin you around here!!!!

They look cool. The exif was removed when you posted your pictures so I cant see your settings. Look like your using a little high ISO. Try cleaning the pictures up by running them through a noise reducer and clone out all the artifacts. See if that helps them. They look good though.
