New level sensor - another GHL market leader

We are pleased to announce the launch of the GHL NON contact water level sensor.

This is a fantastic devise that attaches the the exterior glass of the aquarium ensuring absolute no harsh water enviromental degredation. The only thing you need to do is make sure no algea builds up on the interior tank glass surface at the location of the sensor. So maintenance is very low!

There is the potential if you keep the cup clean that these "could" be used for protein skimmer cup level warning, we have not tested this but I am quite sure someone will very soon

The viewing window is made of different material for much longer life expectancy.

Nope, the order went in to GHL yesterday and they should ship to us next Friday which means we will have them at dealers 10 days from shipping

Update - Due to the large demand for the shoot through glass non contact water level sensor we have taken the marketing decision not to offer the Optical sensors anymore.

The reason for this is due to the fact of getting a better price for the non contact sensors making them now the same price as the original opticals and also becuase they require no fixing kits work out even cheaper for setting up.

The sensors being non contact also have the ability to last many years as there are NO wear and tear parts.

Sensors available no later than 17th June.

yep, it uses microwaves so will work through anything really

How does dirt or deposit effect it? For instance can it be used on a skimmer collection cup?

can it be used on a skimmer collection cup? - I don't know, we try this tomorrow, but I fear the dirt will be recognised as the water level

you can if you like, the only dealer to order any so far on pre order is www.progressivereef.com so give spenser a call (Preef are on PST) and ask them to put one aside for you

The beauty wth these is that you need no fixing kit, they stick to the glass (I would back this up with two dabs of silicone also)
