NEW LFS In Longwood?

yep, seen the zoo rocks. they all looked real dark, but large pieces non the less. SPS didn't have alot of color to them either. maybe it will just take a little time for the tanks to balance.

stopped by the fish bowl. they had a good amount of fish, but still not what we are looking for.

started the day at Trident in Palm Bay, planned to meet someone, but that fell through! Trident had alot of fish, but still not what we were looking for.

but Bobbi wanted a bright color anenome since we seen thepurple on here and a glowing purple one on BARS. She ended up with a purple/pink LT from fishy business.

"Jacks Aquarium used to be. It's really closer to Winter Springs than"

where is this one at?

lol I bought the Purple from the Fish Bowl on Wednesday...sorry

It's not open yet. A couple miles from fishy business on 434

Don't forget Pet Safari is right down the street. There is going to be too many LFS in that longwood area. I hope they all can make it.

odd, cause I know tom from ocean blue is opening one at 436 and 17-92 from what I hear.

Wow, rumors are flying!! I heard Tom's store was opening in Longwood near 434 and 17-92...like 4,000 sf! I guess they were WAY off if it's on 436 and 17-92 as that would be Casselberry there, wouldn't it? It's like playing that telephone game when you were a kid...it'll be interesting to see where it really ends up.

Maybe if I am lucky I'll wake up, be the owner, and running a 4000sq ft fish store out of my backyard but it'll be hidden in the woods.

SPS greenhouse anyone?

My "typing tourettes" just graced you all. It is late and I have been forced to make a stupid comment.. As you were :0)

me too - pet safari is one of my favorites

I think they were trying to say that pet safari is not one of their favorites. They spend far too much time on that display and neglect the rest of the store imo. Their fish tanks and coral tanks look awful.

Just to make this clear again, Tom's store is on 434, about a 1/4 mile past 17-92 (towards Winter Springs) in the Winn Dixie shopping center. It's called Exotic Aquarium, and the store will be very frag oriented.

Awesome, Thats what I was told by some other local LFS owners.

If anyone would like to get ahold of Tom and get an opening date, we would have all the info. lol

Exactly! Sure the display is neat, but all the rest of the tanks are dirty and just ew. The one and only time we went in there, one of the guys that works there was trying to talk a customer out of having a saltwater tank. He was telling him all this negative crap about it, and all the customer wanted was a yellow tang.
