New Life Spectrum Foods

The guy who came up with this food has a 2000 gallon tank full of angels, butterflies, tangs, that he has maintained for 7 years. He feeds nothing but New Life Spectrum. He said it has everything they need. No need to add supplements to the water. I am going to try it and see what happens. It should also help on the pollution of the tank.

Has anyone else tried it for an extended period?

I've been feeding it to my 3 tangs (Sailfin,Yellow and Purple) all of which I would call on the larger side. The results have been fantastic. Great Colors, Great Health.

When I "purchased" (i say "purchased" becase they gave him to me "free" with a $10 donation) my purple tang he had horrible lateral line disease and other signs of vitamin deficiencies. I've fed him strickly New Life Spectrum Thera-A and he is almost 100%!

I have.
It really doesn't have everyting SW fish need IMO.
For cichlids his claim is true.
I kept cichlids wth That food only an the cichlids did very well.
It is the most acclaimed commercial food for cichlids.
When you look at the other formulas, you will notice the ingredients are all the same.
I have long suspected it's the same food, just diff label.
Well SW fish and FW fish have different needs.
If I remember correctly that food was first made for cichlids in mind.

Im using it for years now..
Always supplementing it with other foods, sometimes switching for other food and go back to NLS always supplementing with some Algae and frozen food.
I dont really think one food by itself can be good for ALL fish, as different fish got different needs.
I told it to the owner as well, Mr.Pablo, But he dont agree.
I noticed that lately they changed their formulas, earlier they used Soybean meal, and now Soybean isolate.
I think that for this kind of money they should source for higher grade protein than soybean.
