New lights

I just received my Corallit Outer Orbit 48" 250w MH, 4 H-5, and night lights light. It is spectaular and works great. The anenome seems to love the MH. My only problem is the dang light covers the whole tank, making cleaning and feeding a real chore. The canopy I bought is way to small to hold these lights, so now I have to build a canopy for the tank Which sucks. If any one is looking for a canopy for a 90 gal, I will sell this one for $80.00 it has never been used and is brand new at $120.00 I re-stained the outside and painted the inside white. (Todd, the lights you found me were gone and I couldn't get the people to return e-mails, so I just spurged and bought this one.:eek2:

what are the inside dimensions??

The light fixture I need to put in it is 48 X 14

Okay, I'll take some pics tonight and post them. I believe they will fit, but I need to make some measurements.

Huhhhhh I was just going to hunt you up to tell you about this for your tank you got. I seen that you told me some one got that galaxia a HR after i went home that's good.. I'm just glad its not in my tank eney more.LOL

I think you made a great choice, well since I have the same light i'm kinda biased. All my corals, inverts, and fish are happy as well. Congrats

How is your tank doing Shannon? Haven't heard from you in a while, did you get your calcium reactor working properly?

Hey Yeah, well I'm still dosing the 120 and trying to stabilize the reactor. Water changes throw off the CA levels and then I have to work it back up with dosing. Staying pretty consistant around 375. Anyway I'm going the Kalkwasser route for top off providing continued problems.

I may do another reactor and use this one on the 55 if this keeps up.
