About an hour ago, I just put a new LT anemone in my tank for my Maroon Clown... he is happy... WAY too happy. He's being really rough and aggressive. I am afraid it will damage or stress the new anemone. Any ideas?
Maroons are so aggressive, I've known a couple people that had their anemones killed by them. I do have to agree that both are too large for your tank. I have a pair of percs in my 12. I was thinking of trying some green star polyps for them to be in.

Yes, maroon clowns are aggressive. But no, they aren't necessarily going to "be fine." An extablished maroon clown can easily stress a new anemone to death.
Second, we are talking about an anemone that can easily grow to a good 18" in diameter. A 12 gallon tank is a mite too small.
