New LTA moving - Is this normal?

I know I've heard that BTA's will often hide under rock and then come back out. Is the same true for LTA's?

He looks very healthy. I just want to make sure he doesn't crawl under a rock and disappear. Will he come back out when he's adjusted to the light?

what's it doing exactly? is it rolled up and not attached through substrate, or is it just deflating and inflating?

and what type of lighting do you have

I have mH and 2 actinics, and it just moved under a rock. I can still see some of it, and it looks fine. I wouldn't say fully inflated, but it still looks fine best I can tell.

I wonder if it's just adjusting to the lights and will come out when it does? I sure hope so!

could be, if it came from a tank with little lighting. mine came from a tank with no lighting and was in tap water. when i moved it to my tank it liked the lighting but not the flow. eventually it found a spot it liked a lot

Could be trying to get away from the water current in your tank so it can put its foot in the sand ..without being blown around... my plta likes very little water current like just a breeze. It attached really quick to the substrate maybe because I put it in a spot where I dug a hole for it. It is still very happy without a whole lot of water current. It has been in the same spot (where I put it ) ever since 10/05/07.
