I've run Reeflux 12k's on coralvue ballasts in Luminarcs and I will have to agree it's a bad pic because mine were very bright. I can only imagine what they look like in lumenbrights.Originally posted by mdrumm
Coralvue ballasts. It is bad pic. They shine in person
I think the raw reflector is 14.5X14.5 and with the shell is 16X16.Originally posted by JMaxwell
Yes, the mini pendants are 16x16. Some sites list them as 14.5x14.5 for some reason, but mine are definitely 16x16. I think they are a bit larger than the raw SE reflectors because of the back shell all around the outside.

cl2ysta1, looks like there is some shadowing in front of your Frogspawn. I am either going to get the LB's or the Lumenarc's but I'm concerned the LB's don't have enough spread as the LA III's. If i mount the bottom of the LB reflector 10" above the waters surface will I have a shadow underneath my center brace? I'm looking for a reflector set up where there will be no shadowing. I saw on Melev's Reef that he built a 90 gallon propagation tank for Dr. Mac and it used two LB's above the tank. The lighting spread for the LB doesn't look very good from the side shot. It looks like the light shoots straight down and not spreading out to cover the tank very well.
