New Macro Algae - Please ID

Growth pattern makes me think Dictyota sp., but not sure. About halfway down here the purple algae is Dictyota.

looks like dictyota to me too. don't pull it off in the tank. remove the infected rock. good luck, if it is dictyota, you'll need it.

There are no intentions to remove the algae as my entire tank is display macro.

I haven't found Dictyota to be an issue. Stay on top of pruning and don't let pieces fly all over your tank and you'll be fine.

I will agree with the Dictoya, exact type I don't know.. Looks beautiful though..
