New Magnet problem?

hi Roger,

i got a Tunze 220.55 magnetic pane cleaner. it works great.

i noticed that when i took the "wet" magnet out after cleaning my tank for the first time, the box was full of water. it says that the magnet is sealed and can be left in the tank.

is there a problem with my "wet" magnet box? is it safe to leave in the tank if water is getting in to the box and on to the magnetic part??

Their is a void space in the magnet that will fill with water, this doesn't affect the magnet which is sealed in resin.

can i seal the box with silicon? i would rather it didn't drip so much when i took it out to do the other panes..

I don't know how well that will work, I woul probably suggest just moving it over the aquarium or under water.
