new mandarin

Hi All,
I seem to remember that mandarins are fairly immune to disease??
reason I ask is I have a 210 reef that can feed her.... If I QT then I'll have to raise brine, or find some live foods..
opinions??? QT or not QT,, that is the question....

I wouldn't. They're not immune, but fairly resistant.

I would never QT a mandarin because their slime coating makes them highly resistant to disease. As Chibis says, they are not immune but fairly resistant.

IMO if you want to get her to eat frozen foods, QT her and intro pods every other day, if not, then intro right into the display.

well, to the display with her then... I have a male already and I want to get them introduced.. I already breed clowns, and these are my next project...
