New mantis en route!

Well my LFS ordered me a cpl tube 'nems and an unidentified mantis!

It stinks not knowing what species it is...all he told me was that if they are large, they write large in the description. It didn't say "large."

Not totally prepared either ;(. I have a 40breeder, a 45tall, a 37g and an 18" cube, all set up. My plan however is to use an empty 20long i have, toss some sand in it along with a bunch of rubble and lr from my sump. There should be a minimal cycle if any...if I don't like test results it could go in the 45tall for a bit.

Nah...I texted him this a.m. asking if he knew where it might ship from...specifically. No luck though.

He will hold it until I can ID species and get the tank setup appropriately.

i ask saltwaterfish what the scientific was but they said they didnt know..

Wow, I love the coloration on him/her. If you are able, can you (or LFS) get a shot at the meral spots on the stomatopod?

Yea I looked at list earlier and thought viridis maybe but I really have no clue...especially without different angled pics.

He didn't get it from Saltwaterfish though..that I know for sure.

My vote would be virdis as well. I had a P. ciliata that had the same coloration.

This is my viridis, but dont think they look alike... Yours seems to have a different telson.

Should I be concerned that its second night at the LFS, it molted?
