New maroon clown sick?

I just purchased a new maroon clown fish today. It is about 3 inches long and looked very healthy and ate while I was at the store. Now when I have it home and in the quarantine tank it is acting like it is too buoyant. It tends to drift to the top of the tank and seems to have problems swimming to the bottom of the tank. Almost like there is a balloon inside of it that needs to be deflated. Is this a swim bladder problem and how would one treat it? Iwould appreciate any help that could be offered.
Thanks

Could be its just freaked out about its new tank. I had a pair of Maroons do the same thing to me when I first got them. After a while they settled in,but it took a week or two.

Did you acclimatise it properly? I've heard (don't know how true this is) that when a fish gets dumped from a lower temp to a higher temp the gases in their guts expand too rapidly and they have problems much like you're describing. Either way, its another reason proper acclimatisation is important
