New Maxima Clam: enough light?

hey guys I just purchased a maxima, i believe, that is about 2.5-3". I have 80watts of PC light on my 10g. Is this enough light? My dad has one in his 24 nano cube under Pcs thats doing well I think mine should be fine hes opening up well and all and my water is immaculate just slightly high calcium levels. any input is appreciated

Crocea.. for sure. And from everything that I've read, I'm quite certain that the PC's won't cut it long term. If you were thinking about upgrading your lights, now would be a splendid time.

Nice clam, but I agree with gil716 on the identification and lite issue. I think with the PC setup the clam will survive but not thrive unfortunately. You probably know this already though. Time will tell, keep us updated. Take a photo monthly and compare after four or five months and see what you think.

Im planning on getting a new tank fairly soon that will have MH's so he will be moved to that tank when the time comes...
