new maxima problem

I just bought a maxima clam and his mantle is not extending evenly. The right side is not opening as much as the left. He has been in the tank for 3 days and just started this in the last 18 hrs. My other two clams are great. I will post a pic soon

He was also not reactive to the flash like the croceas.

can you post a picture? If it's not reacting to passing light that's usually a very bad sign, but with only 3 days in the tank it could be stressed and "tired".

Still, give us pictures or at least describe it in more detail, including your tank specs and did you acclimate it.

It does look like the right side is not completely exteneded. I'd almost say pinched mantle but generally it is both sides. It could be an aggrivation or just reaction to it's new enviroment. What lights do you have? You might want to try moving it up as well.

Tried to move it up, but he jumped down. I belive it might be some shipping stress. Now both sides will not open. I moved him to a less intense light spot and he is extending evenly but not very much. Now one of my crocrea calms in tipping himself over(same delivery as the Max). I will set him straight on the bottom and in a couple of hrs he tips toward the glass.
