New McCorkers Flasher Wrasse Question

So after waiting over a month to have consistant water parameters, I finaly was able to get a couple new fish. I got one Small Kole Tang, who is already picking at algea in the tank, and a McCorkers Wrasse. The McCorkers Wrasse seems to be acting weird. He is hiding, and has lost some color. I know he is stressed from the move, but is there anything I can do to help him settle in better?

Tank is a 40 breeder w 20L sump. Other inhibitants are 2 clowns, 1 coral banded shrimp, 1 emerald crab, and snails.

Tank Params;
Sg: 1.024
Nitrate: 0
Nitrite:0
Calcium: 400
KH: 9
Temp:78.8
PHOSPHATES: 0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( THIS IS THE ONE I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH)

Forgot to mention that I floted him for 30 min in the tank, then I drip acclimated him for 45 min to an hour. Slow drip for 15 min, and then I increased to drip faster every 10-15 min after that. If my method is wrong, please correct me so I do not do this again...

according to what I just learned once you open the bag you should intro him within 30 minutes otherwise ammonia levels rocket. Match up salinity and get him in Qt or DT. That really shouldn't have stressed him too much. Sounds normal for most wrasse but I'm no expert

He is exploring for about a minute at a time. Otherwise he is just hiding in HIS hole in one of my rocks...... Do you think I should try to feed?

yes try to feed when he is out.....keep trying, it could take a while.....a week. live black worms might encourage him to eat.

Just give him time. They take a couple days to adjust sometimes. Your tank is too small for a tang though.

I know my tank is small to keep a tang for its life, but I am already planning to upgrade to at least a 90 gallon. The one I have is only about a silver dollar size. I plan on upgrading in the next 6 months, so he should be ok till then.
