New Medicine Food on ebay

Medicated foods have been around for years. I've never heard any success stories and remember several saying their fish wouldn't eat the food. If this is supposed to be a reef-safe parasite cure, save your money.

+1 And even if it does work on the fish, it can't do anything about the parasites/worms living in the water all around them.

thanks guys, wont buy.... im planning to buy NLS thera+A... currently feeding cyclopeeze and ON form.2....had ich on 1 clown, i dipped cyclop in DIY garlic and it dissappeared in 2 days... hope it dosent come back.... planning to add a UV but im a bit out of cash....

I'd read the ich stickies above. Dips do nothing for ich and UV does very little. The spots you can see are not the actual parasite and no real indication of the presence of ich. Unless you treat all the fish that were exposed to this clown and leave the DT fishless for 9+ weeks; ich is still there and will come back, probably in much greater numbers.

well currently it doesnt have ich.... my only prob is that i dont have space for a qt tank.....

Your fish may not SHOW ich, but ich is still in the tank and probably on the fish. Not being able to see ich doesn't mean much. You can never see it without a microscope; the spots are just the leftover tissue from his entry. Ich loves gills too. If you had ich and just treated with a garlic dip..your system still has it it. Read the ich stickies, It sounds like you really don't understand the life-cycle of ich. Without a QT I really can't help you much. keep good water & diet; your fish may stay relatively healthy for a while, but not forever. I sure wouldn't add any new fish until you can properly care for them. Good luck.

kool.... i guess ill have to do something..... what is the best copper liquid? i came across seachem... also how to remove copper again from the qt tank? ill keep temperary qt tank bare bottom.....

I like SeaChem Cupramine. To remove copper, just empty the QT and rinse it; it doesn't stick to glass or silicone sealant.

and how to remove copper again? as ill shift the fish, atleast some water might drop in main tank.... atleast drops.... dont want that.....

A few drops of water with copper at less than 1/2ppm isn't going to bother anything. Even salt mixes have a tiny bit of copper. Carbon, WCs, Cuprisorb, or Poly-Filters (the specific brand) will all remove copper.
