Hi,

Just wanted to intro myself. My name is Scott and I am a SW addict. Just recently started SW but have kept FW for years. Currently have a 12 gallon aquapod that I stare at for hours at a time. I work as a paramedic in Schenectady and Glenville so I may not be able to help with fish questions but I'm your man for medical stuff! I look forward to joining the group.

IF superglue Bonds human flesh instantly" then why do we need surgery and stitches and staples ?

IF some one gets their arm ripped off, just glue it back on.... Rite?

Just curious...... :p

Welcome.

Hi masmedic,

welcome to the forum!

Any kind of specialty information one has is good for the forum!

BTW, the translation to DaveESPI's note was "Welcome MasMedic"; at least I would hope so.

Welcome to the group Scott!

Do you still keep FW fish? I had FW then SW seemed to take over. Somehow Tom (my husband/non fish geek) got me back into a FW tank for him...I was shocked to say the least. That one tank seems so odd to me now.

What do you keep in your Aquapod (fish/corals?)

Again, welcome to the forum.

Linda C.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Dave Espi - Superglue does bond flesh so if you get a cut handling some LR you can use that or if you're out of superglue...improvise and use some reef epoxy!

Linda C. - I do still keep FW in a 30 gallon but when they die they're gone and I think I'll say bye to FW and convert solely to SW. RIght now in the AP12 g I have a false perc, 6 line wrase, Randalls goby, pink cuke, sand sifting star, skunk cleaner shrimp, GSP, green striped mushrooms, and a frogspawn. The bioload is a little high but I do frequent water changes to keep nitrates down. The only casualty thus far was a small frag of xenia from Eddies which cost $25. Now I see that people are giving it away for free! Beginners mistake!

Thank you again for the warm welcome. I hope no one else is experiencing the cold I have right now. It doesn't seem that way becuase I'm the only one posting at 5:00 in the moring!

Masmedic, we all are long passed out from over indulgance in tipping strippers, and alcohol consumption at 5 am............... at least some of us are atleast................ but I'm not naming names......

* Krazy K :p

This is not true in my case - my lights go on at 5 AM. I am up and ready to start my day!

Scott, some of us are more normal than others - I think the others have identified themselves.

I'm insulted!! Don't call me normal

Sara, getting up at 5am I'd kill myself. It's bad enough most days I'm at work at 5am
