Darn it, got caught...
Anyways,
Hi all, my name is Stan and I've recently (3 months now) decided to punish myself financially and go SW. I've done FW for about the last 20-23 years, with all types of cichlids and the typical beginner FW fish like mollies. Biggest tank to date would be the one I have now in SW form. It's a 80ish gallon acrylic hex. I'm not too fond of the tank as hex's kill you on surface area and this one requires a ladder to reach even half-way down into it, but my wife likes it and she's supporting my habit. I'll work on pictures...
And here they are..
Didn't intend to have a deep sand bed in the tank, but it ended up that way and seems to be ok so far.

Hey everyone. My name is Ray. I used to have 3 sw tanks. 55, 29 and a 10 gal. I just purchased a 120 gal from a friend here in tucson. so I will be moving everything to that tank and retire the 55 gal (maybe!!!).
I had my brother visiting me for the holidays and he really liked the 29 gal setup, so i gave him the tank with a 10 gal homemade sump. I moved everything from my 29 to the 55 for now.
A few months back i had to do some traveling and a friend had to look after my stuff. Needless to say, he did not do a very good job and some of my stuff died. But i did not give up.
The 55 gal is pretty full, but everything seems to be kicking real nice. The only problem i had was some algea due to my new MH light. I am cutting back on that and it seems to be looking much better.
I will post some pics soon.
