New montipora cap

Hey guys I have motipora cap frag and I was woundering how long would it take for my frag to attach it self to the live rock

Mmm u lost me with the gsp...and another question...i used super glue to attached to rock...thays ok right??

He is basically saying they will over grow your tank. Personally I don't mind it. I think it's good to have a variety of things of different shapes, growth patterns, and colours.

Oh got it...ok cool yeah I dont mind...could always frag it if gets to big

i see about a mm of growth on the edges a week or so...you can just break the edges off to prune...i have some green .. some purp ..some orange..and some red..trying to get them to grow together..i have found it to be fairly simple sps..good confidence booster for me..

my acros dont seem to do anything..they just sit there..dont even get polyp extension...but they arnt receding either..just wait i guess...

but all my montis do fine..plating and encrusting..digitis..green and blue..my encrusting i have a rainbow (base w polyp ).red w green ...blue w red...green w blue.. blue w green ..and some purple haze...they all do well ...they dont seem to grow as fast as the plating ..but all do well..

they do like cal..the local fish store had a guy bring an orange one in the size of a basketball..he complained he couldnt keep his cal up...well no wonder..

the green and red grow a little slower than the orange..

I place a piece of oarange plating on a rock 2 weeks ago and it has already attached to the rock and has extended past the edge of the rock ledge and is getting more flow, kinda looks like its starting to convolute. very fast grower

Sweet man well I hope mine grows fast...i can see some growth...it just finish acclimating and got color back so I guess its time for it to grow

I bought a 1 square inch on red, purple, and green caps back in feb and now the Red cap is about 3 inch around. The green maybe 2.5 inches and the purple is about 2 inches.

I really like them. They all have really colored up and look awesome!
