New mushroom leather not standing up?

Wife bought it yesterday as a b-day present for me.

It had tiny little polyp things coming out yesterday and both stood tall, today its bent over and won't stand up and no polyps are out.

What's the deal? Is this normal? I just flicked the lights on 2 hrs ago...still laying down.

it should be fine....they take a little to acclimate to the new water chemisty and the lights.

End of today now they're still on their sides. Hopefully they'll respond positively soon.

if your water peremeters are in check they are just acclimating and it may take up to a week for them to reset to there originall brilliance. know if not there is some foreign chemical source in your tank releasing it to slow down your mushrooms health, also make sure they are atleast 3 inches from any hard coral

they are within 2 inches of a green carpet anemone.... but they don't touch. I've watched.

ok, so now they aren't standing up STILL on day 3, however they do have the little polyps out more.

sound like this is gonna be a slow recovery, and it is possible that the mushrooms got a bit to close. my green carpet anemone attacks my large forrest of Xenias occasianally when they are swaying in the wave, gets within 1 inch and they shrink like i slapped em. just whached those green carpets mine has been a sneeky killer, took out 1 shrimp 1 grandma gobie.
but keep the anemone spirit alive because they are one of a kind creature.
