new nano and new to salt

This is my first salt setup. I have a friend that is good with salt setups that is stearing me in the right direction with my small budget. I used water from his tank and am using the nitromax for a while.

I have some live rock on top and base rock below with a cool little cave.

How long do I have to wait to put stuff in the tank? I just want a couple small clowns and a cleaner shrimp. I would also like a couple anemones that the clowns will host. I also would like to have a bunch of hermit crabs and snales as well.

I am a little ****ed at the quality of the hood because it doesn't fit well. The smaller opening for feeding is also off so it will not shut properly. I probably will just trim the plastic to make it work errrr.

Any advice for me on what to get and when I can start filling the tank with life?

I think it says 8W on the middle bulb .
Nems are a no no for a biginer the clowns can live without it.

am I reading this right?... what is Nems? and clowns can or can't live without it?

nems is short for anemone's. They need a VERY established tank (6 months) and high light requirements.

Clowns can live without anemones and can host in other corals.

To help us figure out your lighting what brand is the tank? Do you have a link to where you bought it?

Wouldn't it be easier to just call the LFS you bought the tank from to ask them what lights they are? Don't mean to sound rude, but that's the first place I would start.
