New Nem

So I recently got a new BTA, The guy at the fish store told me to put in in a small pet carrier with a rock in my tank, he said this will allow to nem to roam around until it finds a spot on the rock it likes and hopefully "semi permanently" attach to it. Then I will be able to put it in the tank were I like (I have a nice space were the rock would go. My clownfish pair swim in that area so hopefully they will host. Any thoughts?

I thought the same thing.

Mine has moved from the bottom, to the top, then to the back, back around to the front, up to the top, now it is hidden in the back but still up top.

Flow, Light, feeding, gravitational pull, these are a few of the items that will effect whether it stays or moves.

Two of my clowns have stayed with it the whole time it has progressed. Maybe it is just running from the clowns... Nah... it really likes it and gets fed by it too.

I just want it to find a spot and chill so I can place the rock on the sand. Real estate is limited on the sand these days. I don't want to place him there for him to move at night.
