new occelaris clown not eating help

Please help. This is my first fish in my new 75 gal reef tank. It has been cycling for 1 mo. I have had him for 4 days. He has a new injury to his tail from unknown cause. Only other tank mates are 2 nassairaus snails. He is not eating small pellets soaked or not soaked, or flake or chopped shrimp. His tail has a moon shaped chunch missing out of it. I think he might have gotten into the power head or who knows. I turned my 2 korilla 5 power heads off to give him a break in swimming. What can I do to get him to eat? Reefgo

Does he look alright besides the chunk out of his tail? Does he seem alert? Skin/eyes are clear? Breathing normally? he could still be a little stressed from being in a new environment (and I hope wherever you bought him from had him eating first!)

Try:
Prawn Eggs (If you can find them)
Brine Shrimp (Seems to entice fish to eat quickly)
And definitely Mysis Shrimp as prsammons said above.

You can soak any of these in a garlic solution to make them more palatable/tempting for your fish.

Good luck!
