Hi everyone, I have made a good discovery and I think it is worth sharing.
I was in search for a way to slow down the consumption of live feeding and experimented with scallops.
I bought a 4.99 bag of small scallops from Trader Joes.
I then thawed them out slightly and breaded them heavily one at a time with dried cyclopeeze and put them back in the freezer.
The breading stays on even when put in the water.
Each time I fed the breaded foods, the octopus ate it and liked it.
Now I alternate between live and breaded.
I trully think this is a good source of nutrition and if you can get your octopus to eat cyclopeeze one way or another, you will be much more ahead in the struggle for proper nutrition.
