TICOCUBAN - How did you pop your off your plug??

I usually cut the frag as low as I can to the base so I can put the frag where I want it and I can grow a new one with what is left on the plug.

ngn8dogg - what do you spot feed yours with? I feed all my corals in my tank Elos SVC zooplankton but I dont spot feed them. I just mix it up in tank water and dump it in so it circulates in the tank.

I also dose Elos Omega and ProSkimmer aminos every 3 days.
I used to just use rotifiers for sps but i bought the reef chili from Bulk reef supply and my tank seems to love it

Just wanted to share this beauty i recently picked up :D

One of the best shots I've seen! Awesome job.

just miss that green....

... i think mine is getting a little too much light for the green to stick around... mine is all pink... a very nice pink, but no green and the green is what makes this coral :(

yea i think you are right kip.mine was all pink when i had it at the top under right under the halides but now its getting the green back as i moved it down to the middle of the tank.not the dark green that you see with the T 5 users but a nice light green.the pink tips are awesome though with a metallic glow so i am pretty happy.i will try to post a photo later when i get time.

I am beginning to agree. Recently moved mine into my display. It sits about 8" under water under a 250 Radium. I am seeing less green as time goes on. :(

mine has lost most of it's green too. It's placed very near the bottom in my 40 breeder under a 250w phoenix 14k. still looks pretty damn sweet though.

So, sorry to steal...and get off topic, but this was sold to me as an ORA rose millie, but is it? Or is it something else, it has quite a bit of green in it as well.

Just a quick update, but after a couple of weeks, the green is coming back. Especially in the area that is encrusting (which formally was white). Ill try and get pics in the next couple of days but my white balance is bad and colors dont usually show properly.

My tiny 1/2" Red Planet frag is showing nice red on the tips, still a bit of green in the branches and on the encrustation.... new growth edge on the encrustation is whitish which I expect to turn green soon followed by red as it ages out

Downhill, I don't think that is the ORA Rose... I've seen someone here on RC with a similar Red Mille with a nice green base... wish I had a frag of that (my ORA Rose is pink mostly with a touch of red here and there)

Thanks for the comments and help guys. Either way I think it is an exceptional coral. Therefor, I am going to name it DH (downhill) Navaho Sunset Monti. Any takers? Honestly though, it has turned more purple and green, not so pink anymore. The pic was taken about 2 months ago.
