oes anyone have any large colony photos I can add to the site? (http://www.oracorals.com/ora-red-planet-table.asp)

Mine is growing, but is nowhere near being "a large colony"

I think there was a colony thread, but I couldn't find it. Maybe I'll start a new one, but if someone knows where that other thread is, please PM it to me. Thanks.

Hobby Experience: lots

I would guess the biggest you'll find so far is like Stanley-Reefer's shown above. I saw this image at the time of introduction but don't know it's origin. It could be from ORA. Here is one of the pages it is shown. http://www.reefbuilders.com/2008/08/08/red-planet-coral-to-hit-your-local-lfs-via-ora/

oooo how long have you had your PB, rigleautomotive?

Its just about a year now.It really didnt start growing fast until about 2 months ago . now its in a nice growth spurt.Hopefully i can keep evrything stable like its been

from my experience, this coral will only keep its green color when placed lower in the tank. Mine lost all green when high in tank...lowered it and now all green is back and is growing well

Here's my Red Planet. I've had it about a month or so and has lost a lot of the deep reds and picked up a lot more green. It's encrusting very well, when I got it it wasn't mounted so I put it on a plug and has encrusted entirely over the super glue. PE is very good too, I have it just above my WP25. I believe it's getting a good amount of light, never taken par readings, as it's almost directly under my AI Super Blue Sol roughly 8" under water level. It did come from being MH to LEDs. Overall I'm very happy with this coral and hope it becomes a centerpiece in my tank.

This was about 3 weeks ago
