Ive read through a number of threads and the sticky and it sounds like the two most common issues with osmolator sounding the alarm with simultaneous too high / too low lights flashing are related to being wet or magnetic fields.
The osmolator is new and the controll is in a separate dry cabinet and has not gotten wet in the 3 weeks Since i bought it new from premium aquatics, so I don't think that's the issue. As far as magnetic interference, I've isolated all the cables as much as possible. My lighting is elos e-lite, so no big ballast. I thought perhaps the power being plugged into a dc8 might be culprit, but I've run an extension cord to an outlet on another breaker, and the problem persists.
I've had it run for at most 20 hours before it defaults to the too high / too low alarms and stops working. Most of the time his happens within 5 minutes.
What else might I try? The only magnetic interference would be the magnet mount it came with.
Thanks
