New pair of Picassos

I am so excited about my new Picassos. I recently downsized to a 20 gallon tank and thought long and hard about what fish I wanted in it since I can't have many. I figured something really neat like a Picasso pair would be good.

I was a little worried about one of the fish when I first got them home because he wasn't very active in his shipping bag at all. When I acclimated him and put him in the tank, he just laid in the net. But within an hour they were both doing laps around the tank and swimming directly into the Vortech's flow. I am having a ton of fun watching them cruise around.

My photography skills are not that great and the glass has a dirty spot in the corner they were hanging out in but I figured I better get pictures of them while they were kind of still or I'd have a hard time catching them in a picture later.

They look really nice(I'd guess donis too, where I got mine)
Mine were all over tank at first too, like kids at Disneyland.
I just got a nem for them, and now they seem to be at home and all snuggly.

Thanks guys. Actually they aren't from Doni's, my LFS ordered them in from ORA for me. I didn't read about Doni's website until after I had put the order into my LFS.

Davocean, I had a BTA in my 125 tank but I don't think I'm going to try an anemone in this 20 gallon. Just seems like it's to small of a space and I don't want my corals stung. Your picasso in your avatar is gorgeous!

I wouldn't do a nem in that small of a tank either, maybe a frogspawn or hammer instead.
My female was taking host from a frog, but it was too small for both, and she chasing the male away.
New LTA is big enough for both(and my bangaii is even trying to hang w/ them)
A good size frog may work well for you.

Hey how did ya get ur clowns to host ur frog? I have a pair of ture percs and they never even look at my frog. So I bough an lta and 30 mins later they both are chillin in the nem. Any tips how I can get my clowns to host a frogspawn? I sold my true percs and I just got my picassos yesterday and they arnt going near the nem. Any tip to get them to host that too?

Your picassos just came in, and if like mine they may explore for a couple days and then settle.
I'd bet $$ they'll be in nem in a few days w/out even trying.
They will settle for frog/hammer/others if no nem.

well i have both frog and a nem in there so i guess will see which one they will host.

Lol got home today and one of the picassoswas hosting my frog. My nem was being gay and went to hide behind my tank behind my rocks.
