New Palythoa

I recently bought this colony. I believe it is a Palythoa. Can this be identified as a grandis?

You can not tell by the pic, but they have bright neon green centers.

I have some similar to it, they look great under acintics.

It cought my eye in one of the coral tanks at my lfs. The great part was that it was cheap.

looks like protopalythoa. it could be palythoa grandis, but they are usually uncolored (ugly) and very large in polyp size. can you elaborate on the size?

dime sized polyps

palythoa grandis:

(once of the most colorful morphs ive ever seen- much less color than zoanthids or protopalythoa in general)
half dollar sized polyp

the largest polyp is a little smaller than a quarter.

I'd say something closer to Proto. psammaphila.
