so I had a female perc all alone in the tank with my BTA and she takes very good care of him, always makes sure he's fed and always loving him in a sweet gentle way, I got her a b/f today, and she automatically accepted him and shared her anemone with him, he too is very gentle with the anemone, so that is the wonderful news, however 2 days ago, I noticed the anemone starting to move, which he hasnt done in the 9 mths since I got him, not sure whats going on, but he seems to prefer the back of the rocks and then moves again back to his reg spot. I thought I read once that they do tend to go hide or move to the back when they plan on splitting, unsure if this is true, the tank params are great, nothing elevated, anemone eating well, lights have not changed, neither has temp or water flow. any ideas would be great, and this is not a post asking how to keep it from moving since I know thats impossible till he finds his happy spot, the tank is primarilly an anemone tank just for him and his clowns and some mushrooms..
thought I'd share a quick pic of the new happy couple, female is about 2" and the little guy is about 3/4" , anemone is not as light in color like the pic appears, it has great color, but the lighting made it look odd in the pic
