Just bought a tank raised perc. yesturday and he seems to be doing great. Hes eating the mysis shrimp that i prepared for him and he looks very healthy. Just one question...all he does is swim against the glass back and forth...is this normal? I know its a stupid question but i just wanted to make sure hes not on his way to getting sick.

I wouldn't worry too much unless he's swimming really frantically and smashing into the walls. He probably just needs a few days to settle in.

I would suggest corals over anemones any day of the week. Clowns do not need anemones, and they will readily host all sorts of corals. Mine host frogsppawn, hammers, toraches, long tentacle plate and some green star poylps.
Cheers

You ever read Joyce Wilkersons book? It has alot of useful information on the care of anemones/clowns, and other potential hosts. I would highly suggest page 43 be read. Good info. :D
Cheers

how big does a BTA get?
how many lick does it take to get to the center of the tootsie pop??

some BTA get 4 inchest or smaller and they split very small some BTA can get 24 inches before they split

We don't hate anemones, but the corals are much easier to care for and much more suitable for your particular tank.

Anemone's also should not be put in a tank under 6 months old & are more "finicky" than your soft corals, even more so in a small tank like a 20 gallon.
