New percula swimming strangely

I just got a new True percula clown today.

Ever since I first saw him he was swimming at the glass in a short up and down motion. I figured it was the small tank he was in at the LFS and the transport bag, but it hasn't stopped in the tank. He is acting like there is food on in the corner of the octogon tank or like he is seeing his reflection. He moved his tail and fins fine, but it is that repeditive motion.

He doesn't have any signs of disease or infection. His fins and color look great.

We even turned off all the lights in the room, and he still swam the same way.

He accimated fine, and the spotted mandirin and crocea clam in the tank are acting healthy.

clown fish naturally swim funny.. thats part of the reason they are called clown fish.... that up and down is perfectly normal.... we get this question on here like once every 5 days or so....

He's a little stressed. He may also occasionally see a reflection and worry that he has to defend himself. Our ywgoby nearly burst a gasket because we had a mirror near the tank edge. He wouldn't leave it. After several day/night cycles, he should calm down.

my clowns even do the "shiver" while looking at their reflections in the glass. I have had mine like a week and 1/2 still "play" in front of the glass. ENJOY they are fun little fish to watch.
