Here are some recent photos of the tank I thought I would share. I have a Cannon T3i and are still learning so any tips you have with the camera or comments on the tank are welcome:

The tank itself looks amazing, really good job on that. You're an excellent reefer, for sure.

As far as commenting on the photos go...

1) You need to white balance. Everything is tinted blue.
2) Is that a bowfront tank? If so, you're going to have a hard time ever getting a good crisp sharp image out of it. If so, then there isnt much you can do. If it isnt, then it looks like you're taking your pictures not perpendicular to the glass. Your images suffer in clarity when you do that, as the glass refracts the light "weird" and you dont get a sharp image. Try holding your camera (or ideally use a tripod) exactly perpendicular to the glass.
3) Use a tripod. It does make shooting fish photos harder, but corals dont move around so a tripod is great for that. Turn off your pumps for 5 minutes, let everything settle, then get clicking.
4) The mandarin picture... it would be a nice one except you focused on the coral behind it, not the fish.

Thanks for the reply- It is a regular tank front. I am new at the photos so what is the easiest way to white balance. I have photoshop elements-should I do it there or should I do it with the camera?? I am sure I can look in the instructions on how to do so.

Your T3i should be able to shoot in RAW mode, not JPEG. In this mode, when you take a picture it does absolutely nothing but expose the shot onto your sensor. All the white balance, sharpness, compression and what not you'd get with a JPEG is not done.

Then, you open it in Adobe Elements (you might need to download from Adobe the RAW update) and you can tweak white balance very easily.
