new pic for today

It hasn't taken to pellets yet, and I don't want to feed shrimp as I'm trying to get away from meat if possible. The colors aren't as sharp with this camera with this fish from a distance and it isn't brave enough for a close shot, but here is one, and 2 others that aren't afraid. It is less than 4", maybe 3.75".

How is that fairy wrasse holding up with those tough guys? When did you add the fairy in relation to the other fish? Fish look super healthy. Great job!!!!! Love the vertical lines on the purple tang!!! Tim

Thanks guys, to be honest the undy died this Tuesday, the same day the ght came in and I had just gotten it on Saturday. Not really sure what got it. So I have been keeping an eye on everything in the tank for any signs of ick or worse.....so far a single white speck on the purple tang, and one on the tusk's eye, but those are gone as of this morning. I will continue the watch for the next couple of weeks. Healthy fish do keep parasites off though as I've seen in this tank. New additions will get a speck or 2 and then that's it with this tank. Been pretty lucky with this one, but not as lucky with my once was garage tank.

Fairy was added before the ght by 2 weeks, but after everything else. I've had the fairy in the garage tank for quite a while, but shut that tank down and moved it into the house tank. The only fish that chases it is the flame angel and that isn't very often, the others don't care about it. It is a pretty fish and tough as nails, it has made it through problems where the rest didn't. It is also always out and about now, but for the first 3 days it hid.

I try my best to keep them healthy so thanks for the compliment!

weel i wish you luck. I've had fish in the past get a speck or two of ich and never see it again. Reason being is that if you feed the fish properly and have excellent water conditions the fish will be able to fight it off. Just be very observant of any aggresion caused by the new addition as this can be a major cause of an ich infestation. Best of luck Tim

Oh I will, trust me, but at this point with the current combo, it looks like a winning bunch. Thanks for the luck as well, never can be too safe!
