New Powder Blue

I ordered a medium 3"-4" powder blue from live aquaria that will be here tomorrow. It will be going into my 40 breeder frag tank while I finish plumbing my 250g. I'll probably keep it in the 40 for a couple months to make sure it is healthy.

Would there be an issue keeping a 3"-4" tang in a 36" tank for a couple months? I just want to insure it's healthy before I introduce it in the 250g because there is no getting it out of the 250g.

Also I normally remove fish from the shipping bag with my bare hand, would I risk cutting my hand if I did it with this fish?

I don't see a problem for a couple months.

I kept both an Achille's and Powder Blue in a 40 gallon breeder during QT (not at the same time of course) and they did fine. I actually had a MP10 pump in there and both fish would swim in front of it for hours at a time. On a side not, I had to sell both the Achille's in my old 300 gallon, and more recent the PBT in my 180, due to aggression. They cant be quite the territorial fish, even if added last.
