I have been seeing these things pop up at several vendor sites. Looks pretty neat. If I had any aiptasia I would try one out for sure.

wow pretty cool, and makes total sense, cept the video would be better if the anenome didnt go hiding back in its hole, those holes can be deep haha. i use the rid ex whatever stuff, and they usually come back after a week or so. just a handfull though.

call me skeptical. i had this pest and tried everything...finally got some peppermints that ate them and i haven't seen any in almost a year. i am glad they are trying new things for this, but that is a pricey gamble.

I have heard of these. They were invented by some old timer reefing dude I believe in NY. he is on RS and has built several of these for other reefers. It was only a matter of time before someone "stole" the design and patent it for themselves. They are effective althiugh you cant wipe out all of the aptasi in one shot. But for the amount of money spent on this, you could buy a couple of peppermints for 1/6th the cost. At least If you buy 2 peppermints, one will eat aptasia. :lol:
