I have decided to change my sump setup from what I have . I order a new sump and refugium . I have build a wall with 3/4 plywood and 3 coats of outside paint. All the wiring is GFI and plugs have a switch on ea. of them. Here are some pic of the project for my 180 gal tank that is in the wall. Thx for looking.

That water tank on floor is for water changes it will be on counter. I will post more pic as project continue.

Really nice setup... very clean.

Are you building the sump/refugium yourself and just order the tanks or did you have them professionally done?

Look forward to seeing some more progress

Ok here are more pic Electric all done added another light fixture. Waiting on plumping fittings and will start plumbing soon I hope.

I love checking out other reefers DIY projects. The electrical is a good idea, previously I just used a surge strip for the whole load but I might be asking for some serious trouble. Do you plan on having those lights we see in the pic be the grow lights if you choose to add a 'fuge to the sump? Is the main tank located on the same floor or is this a basement sump?

The sump and refug are in the basement refug will have its own light. These lights go out when I turn the basement lights off.

The 7 outlets are hook to a 20 AMP GFI breaker all By it self I have up to 16 amp 80% .So I know that all the 7 plugs won't be on all at once.

Out of curiosity how did you calculate the current load? IMO You shouldn't have a problem with a 20 amp circuit

Sometime the equipment will have the total amp draw or you can take
watts divide by volts . Like take heaters I have 2 300 watts so that is 600 watts. So 600 divide by 120 = 5.
