New pump and plumbing question

Hi,

I have a 125gal reef aquarium. My current external pump died. I'm going to replace it with a Pan World 200PS. My actual plumbing is 3/4" and this new pump is 1". What would be the best approach for this? Replace my actual plumbing with a 1" plumbing or reduce from 1" to 3/4"? What are the pros and cons?

Please advise.

I would replace the plumbing with 1" at a minimum.
