New pump for nano skimmer?

Hi I heard that there is a new pump on this 9002 skimmer, is this true?
I purchased my skimmer about 2.5 months ago were these pumps featured on skimmers produced at that time period or is this modification more recent?
If indeed I have the older pump can the new vesion be fitted onto my skimmer?
Do distrbutors of your products carry this pump or how can I go about buying it, and for how much?
How does the new pump differ from the old model?

I am not sure when the change was made exactly but the "upgrade" was a small performance boost and a touch quieter, but was not a major upgrade. The new pump will not be a straight swap to older style if that is what is had and the old style pump will continue to be available. I believe Roger is awaiting spare pumps to see if some kind of retrofit can be done but will likely take some work if so. If you take the pump out and has a number on it 0800.040 was the older.
