New pump ??

I have a Tunze 6060pump that has been starting and stopping latley. I cleaned it spotless and it continues to stop on it's own.

I've been looking for a pair of 6105's or 6205's and a controller for my 180 gallon but havn't been lucky enough to find a set yet.

To make matter worse I'm getting laid off from work next week for at least 3 months.

Does tunze have some kind of trade in policy? I'd like to get a couple pumps and a controller but I can't afford to buy 2 new pumps and a controller.

I am sorry to hear about your situation, we don't have a trade in policy, but I can certainly fix your 6060. They have a 2 year warranty and if it is out of warranty you would be looking at a maximum cost of $70 and likely much less.

Thanks for the reply Roger, I've was tinkering with it after I made the post and it's been running fine since so I think it's good to go. This pump was made back in 05 and has been running great since then except for the recent issue which I'm hopefull has been solved.
